Accessible only by boat from the Choctawhatchee River (launch at nearby ramps like Eden Gardens State Park), it’s on private land, so respect boundaries. Summer weekends draw paddlers—arrive early for calm. For quiet, visit weekdays in spring (April-May) or fall (September-October), mornings ideal. Jet Skis are prohibited on Holmes Creek in Washington County. Ord 97-12 Water clarity is typically vivid but can cloud with Choctawhatchee River backflow after rain.
