Ulele Spring

An urban second‑magnitude spring restored in 2014 at Water Works Park in downtown Tampa. It discharges approximately 672,000 gallons per day into a reconstructed run flowing directly into the Hillsborough River, supporting lush vegetation, manatee activity, and rich aquatic biodiversity. The spring is publicly accessible via land and river, integrated into the Riverwalk and alongside the Ulele Restaurant and brewery, offering both sightseeing and paddling opportunities. Water clarity is crystal clear at the vent and run, even amidst adjacent tannic river water. Look for stable water conditions below 22 feet for the best chance at clarity.
