An opening in limestone approximately 6 ft wide at the base of a 15-ft high bluff on the east bank of the Chipola River, located about 1.8 miles north of the Hollis Creek boat ramp. The vent discharges directly into the river, forming a small pool (~15 ft diameter). A visible surface boil is often present, and there are additional diffuse discharge zones in fractured limestone adjacent to the main vent. The spring run is very short (essentially immediate mixing with river water). The land around the vent is privately owned, with no formal public land access to the spring itself. Expect clarity at 8 feet with clarity improving with lower levels.
