The spring emerges through multiple limestone vents in a sandy-bottomed spring pool shaded by cypress and hardwoods, feeding directly into one of Florida's clearest and most scenic rivers popular for paddling, swimming, and wildlife viewing. Look for low stable water heights for the best chance of clarity. No gage close but the one provided should be a good reference for water stability in the area.
