McBride Slough Spring & McBride Springs 2–4 are a group of freshwater karst spring vents located along McBride Slough within the Wakulla State Forest and adjacent wetland corridor north of Wakulla Springs. The main vent, McBride Slough Spring, appears as a clear groundwater upwelling into the swampy slough that eventually drains toward the Wakulla River, where springs and conduits feed regional spring flows. Nearby McBride Spring #2, McBride Spring #3, and McBride Spring #4 are individual spring outlets identified in hydrologic surveys along the same slough — each discharging cool, clear groundwater from the Floridan aquifer into deeper pools or wetland channels in the slough system. These clustered springs help sustain aquatic habitat along McBride Slough and contribute to the complex network of karst springs and conduits characteristic of the Woodville Karst Plain.
