Nashua Spring

The spring emerges from a shallow pool tucked into a wooded riverbank and drains into the St. Johns through a short, narrow run. Water clarity is typically tea-colored to lightly sulfur-stained, reflecting the surrounding floodplain environment rather than a bright blue basin. The spring is undeveloped and lightly visited, with no designated swimming area or park facilities. It is most commonly noticed by boaters and paddlers traveling this stretch of the St. Johns River, especially during moderate to low river levels when the spring pool and outflow are easier to spot.
