Tanner Spring 2

These springs are part of the Tanner Springs system, discharging into a tributary of the Chipola River about 5 miles northwest of Marianna. Spring #1 and Spring #2 emerge from limestone vents beneath forest canopy and feed a spring run that joins the Chipola. The springs are publicly accessible only via the river or paddling, as they lie away from roads or trails. Water clarity at the springs is generally moderate to clear, though visibility can be influenced by river stage and seasonal conditions. The area is surrounded by private land. Listed as public because it appears that the spring can be accessed by Baker Creek. Verify or get permission to access before visiting.
